How Prof. Ogunleye strengthens PollsAfrica studies

On a PollsAfrica study, an expert is a named person who answers for the work, not a name on a list. Prof. Ogunleye is our named Nigerian expert for studies that ask people about work, well-being and social attitudes.

Study design

Prof. Ogunleye reviews the design of a study before fieldwork, drawing on his research on how Nigerians report on work, health and relationships.

Questionnaires

He checks that questions on work, well-being and social attitudes mean what we intend them to mean to a Nigerian respondent.

Findings

He reads the draft findings and advises whether they hold up before they are published or handed to a client.

The aim is results that a Nigerian reader and a funder can both trust.
