    Design with a named country expert

    Every study starts with a written design agreed with an expert who knows the country: sampling, questionnaire language and local context.

  2. 2

    Fieldwork through vetted local partners

    Interviews are carried out by local field partners we vet for training, supervision and data quality, in the languages respondents speak.

  3. 3

    Live quality checks and back-checks

    Responses are checked while fieldwork runs. A share of interviews is back-checked with a second contact, and any that fail are replaced.

  4. 4

    Publish with the full method

    Results go out with the sample, dates, mode, weighting and margin of error, so any reader can judge them.
