Seats not yet on our checked list2--

Current: the party shown against each member on our checked list. It can differ from the election result because of defections and by-elections. 407 seats in the chamber. As of 18 October 2026. Source: Algeria National People's Assembly (apn.dz).

Party counts are tallied from the Assembly's own deputy list, which prints 407 seats for the tenth legislature. 405 are named; the two seats the Assembly lists without a name are held back rather than published as people, so the tallies below are two seats short of the election result on the two parties that hold them.

As elected: the seats each party won at the 2025 election. It does not follow members who changed party afterwards. 174 seats in the chamber. As of 9 March 2025. Source: Wikipedia, 2025 Algerian Council of the Nation election (reference source).

Includes 58 seats that are not held on a party ticket (appointed, ex officio or indirectly elected).

Names, parties, wilayas, committees and the office each deputy holds come from the deputy list of the National People's Assembly on apn.dz, checked on 18 October 2026. The Assembly publishes 407 seats for the tenth legislature; 405 are named and published here. Two seats are listed by the Assembly with no name printed, so they are recorded as seats awaiting a named holder and are not published as people. Counted from the Assembly's own roster, the party split matches the 2 July 2026 election result seat for seat: National Liberation Front 91, Democratic National Rally 74, Future Front 56, Movement of Society for Peace 43, National Construction Movement 40, Independents 33, then 15 smaller parties and lists. Portraits are the Assembly's own photographs. The Assembly does not print a swearing in date for each deputy, so every term is dated from 28 July 2026, the day the tenth legislature was opened and its members sworn in.
