Research focus
Aksshat Goel works on political and governance research: turning ground feedback from citizens and voters into data that parties and governments can act on. His practice covers electoral intelligence, governance delivery (whether schemes reach people and where delivery breaks) and advanced analytics, including multilevel regression and post-stratification (MRP), census-integrated models and the analysis of interview audio.
He has worked on more than 25 national and state elections. For five years he built and ran a national political party's quantitative grassroots survey system from scratch, covering 95% of India's electorate. His firm, REDACO, also publishes ratings of pollsters in Africa, which grade each published poll against the official result, country by country.
