Answer polls in Somalia. Get airtime.
We are still confirming how we will pay people in Somalia. Join the list and we will tell you how it works before any poll opens.
Recharge card for your time
When a paid poll opens in your country and you finish it, we credit airtime to your phone number in your own currency.
Short polls, your choice
Polls are short and about everyday issues. You can say no to any poll and nothing happens to your place on the list.
Free, always
It costs nothing to join and we never ask you to pay, to buy anything or to send money. If anyone says otherwise in our name, do not pay them and tell us.
People in Somalia often search for paid surveys, or for a way to get paid for answering questions on their phone. This is a simple one: you answer short polls and we credit airtime.
Also called paid surveys, online surveys that pay, or answering questions for airtime.
How it works
- Sign up below with your first name, country and mobile number.
- We keep you on the list. When a paid poll opens in your country, we message you a link.
- Finish the poll and we credit airtime to your phone number in your own currency.
A waiting list means you have a place, not a promise of a poll. We open polls country by country, and we write to you when it is your turn.
We are still confirming which networks we can credit in Somalia.
Is this real?
Yes, and it never costs you money. PollsAfrica is a research site that publishes its method and its sources. We pay in airtime, not cash. We never ask for a fee, a deposit, a PIN or your bank details. If someone asks you for any of these in our name, it is not us.
Staying safe
- Joining is free. We never ask you to pay or to send money.
- We only credit airtime to the number you give us. We never ask for your bank details or card.
- Only believe messages from pollsafrica.com or from our Telegram bot. If you doubt a message, email us.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free to join the waiting list?
Yes. It costs nothing to join and we never ask you to pay for anything, now or later.
What do I get paid with?
A recharge card: we credit airtime to your mobile number in your own currency when you finish a paid poll. Where we cannot yet credit airtime for your network, we will tell you before the poll opens.
When will I get a poll?
When a paid poll opens in your country. We open them country by country, so we cannot give a date. Joining now puts you in line.
Is this a real way to get paid, or a scam?
It is real, and it never costs you money. We pay in airtime when you finish a paid poll, and we never ask for a fee, a deposit, a PIN or your bank details. If anyone asks for these in our name, it is not us. Tell us at the address on the contact page.
Do you pay cash or mobile money?
Not yet. We pay in airtime, credited to the mobile number you give us. If we add cash or mobile money later, we will tell the people on the list first.
How much is a poll worth?
It depends on the poll and the country. We tell you the reward at the start of each poll, before you decide to take it.
Do I have to take every poll?
No. You can say no to any poll and keep your place on the list.
What do you do with my details?
We use them only to run the panel: to invite you to polls and to credit airtime to your number. We never sell them. You can ask to be removed at any time.
I am in Nigeria or Ghana. Do I need to wait?
No. Paid polls are open in Nigeria and Ghana. Join the live panel instead of the waiting list.
