The official Federal Parliament site lists 275 names for a 275-seat House of the People. Two further cards are printed only as a vacant position, with no name; one of them carries seat number HOP#097. We record both as vacancies and do not count them as members. One name is printed with a vacant-position marker against it, which we keep on our own record. 256 seat numbers are claimed by exactly one person. 17 seat numbers carry no name at all (HOP#18, HOP#37, HOP#58, HOP#61, HOP#83, HOP#86, HOP#97, HOP#109, HOP#119, HOP#131, HOP#139, HOP#176, HOP#189, HOP#207, HOP#227, HOP#269, HOP#272), and two seat numbers are printed twice (HOP#039 and HOP#195), so each of those four rows sits beside another name on the same seat. We publish every name the parliament prints and leave the seat cell blank where a row does not map to a single seat, rather than dropping people to force the total. The unnamed seats are left blank, never filled. The Federal Parliament also has a 54-seat upper house, the Senate (Aqalka Sare), chosen by the federal member states; parliament.gov.so publishes no roll for it, so this list covers the House of the People only.
